Program: South Asian Adult Day Program

Service Description: The program will consist of:

• Information on prevention and wellness philosophies

• Equitable access to care in a safe environment to enable improved supports

• Enjoyable information and activities, including the opportunity for socialization and peer support

• Information to enhance or maintain a level of independence, including grooming and self-care

• Provide a break (respite) to the caregiver while providing health services, therapeutic services and social activities for people with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia, chronic illnesses, traumatic brain injuries, development disabilities, and other problems that increase their care needs.

• Provide a safe, secure environment in which to spend the day including recreation in a culturally sensitive manner

 

Hours: Saturday & Sunday

 

Eligibility: Cognitive and frail elderly
