Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-3pm * extended hours also available Mon-Fri between 8:15am-9am and 3pm-4:30pm

 

Service Description: Adult day program * social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for people with Alzheimer's Disease, dementia or cognitive impairment in a group setting for part of the day * helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care * assistance with:

• toileting and personal care needs

• hot meal and snacks

•  transportation provided through Durham Region Specialized Transit Services

 

Fees: $21 per day * subsidy available for eligible participants * additional fee for transportation

 

Eligibility/ Population:  People with a cognitive impairment
